Laguna Network is a rewards platform with two ways to earn: a consumer app for everyday shoppers, and an MCP server for AI agent developers. Both earn real assets — Bitcoin, stocks, commodities, or stablecoins — when purchases are made through Laguna's 200+ partner merchants.

## Product 1: Consumer App (for everyday shoppers)

### What it does
Laguna's consumer app lets everyday shoppers earn fractional real-world assets every time they shop at partner merchants. Instead of points or vouchers, users earn actual ownership of Bitcoin, stocks (equities), gold, silver, or USD stablecoins — stored on-chain. These rewards have the opportunity to appreciate in value over time unlike cash and miles.

- Shop at 200+ partner merchants including Agoda, Trip.com, Shopee, Lazada, Nike, iHerb, Klook, and Airalo
- A portion of every purchase is automatically converted into fractional assets of the user's choice
- Assets are issued by credible partners like Ondo Finance, Tether and stored on the blockchain — ownership is permanent and verifiable
- No fees. No minimums.

Laguna's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server lets AI agents earn USDC commissions automatically when they recommend products or help users find deals from Laguna's 200+ partner merchants. It's an affiliate monetization layer for AI agents — no sign-up, no API keys required.

### How agents earn
- Agent recommends a product or finds a deal from a Laguna partner merchant
- Agent generates a tracked affiliate link via the `mint_link` tool, tied to a wallet address or email
- User purchases through the link
- Commission is paid in USDC directly to the agent operator's wallet (Base chain)
- No account needed — the first link creation auto-provisions the account

- `search_merchants` — find partner merchants by category or keyword
- `get_merchant_info` — get commission rates and merchant details
- `mint_link` — generate a tracked affiliate link for a merchant
- `get_dashboard` — view earnings and commission status
- `withdraw` — withdraw USDC to a connected wallet
