1. What Is Laguna Network?

Laguna is a shop-and-earn platform that lets you earn real-world assets when you shop online.

When you shop through Laguna, our partner merchants pay us a referral commission, which we share with you as rewards. You can choose to receive rewards in assets such as stocks (e.g., Nvidia, Google, or SpaceX), commodities like Gold, or digital assets such as Bitcoin, Solana, and USDC.

2. How Do I Earn with Laguna?

Laguna offers two main ways to earn rewards: Shopping and Quests.

Shopping

Shop through Laguna’s partner merchants by clicking through to their websites and completing eligible purchases.

Shopping opportunities include:

  • Merchants Shop from partner merchants and earn tracked cashback.
  • Vouchers & Bundles Purchase directly through Laguna and receive rewards quickly (available in selected countries).

Quests

Complete activities such as surveys, partner offers, and community engagement tasks to earn additional rewards.

By combining Shopping and Quests, you can maximize your earnings while using the Laguna platform.

3. Where Can I Shop?

After creating a Laguna account, you’ll be shown merchants and products available in the country you selected during signup.

While most of our partners are currently located in Asia, some merchants operate globally, and we’re continually expanding our merchant network.

Important: Shopping with a merchant outside your selected country may make your purchase ineligible for cashback. To ensure your cashback is tracked correctly, always shop through the appropriate country storefront.

4. Can I Choose the Rewards I Want?

Yes.

The reward options available for each purchase will be displayed before you complete your transaction. You can compare the available options and select the reward type you prefer.

Once earned, your rewards will be stored in your Laguna wallet until they become withdrawable.

5. What Is Dynamic Cashback?

Your cashback is awarded and held in the form of a crypto token.

Dynamic Cashback

This is the default reward option. When your purchase is tracked (typically within 1–7 days), you are allocated a fixed number of tokens based on the token’s market value at that time.

Because the reward remains in token form, its value may increase or decrease before you withdraw it. As a result, the final value of your cashback will depend on the market price of the token at the time of withdrawal.

6. When Can I Withdraw My Rewards?

Vouchers & Bundles

Rewards are typically awarded and become withdrawable within 24 hours of purchase.

Merchant Purchases

Purchase tracking may take up to 7 days. Once tracked, rewards generally become withdrawable within 30 to 120 days, depending on the merchant’s validation period.

You will be notified as soon as Laguna receives confirmation from the merchant. The expected tracking and withdrawal timeline can be found on each merchant’s page.

For travel merchants, rewards may become withdrawable up to 120 days after your completed stay or journey.

Quest Earnings

Quest rewards are credited immediately but can only be withdrawn after you have completed at least one qualifying Laguna purchase that has been tracked and become withdrawable.

6A. How Do Reward Withdrawals Work at Laguna?

Rewards earned from shopping with merchants become withdrawable after the merchant confirms that your purchase is final and no longer eligible for refunds or cancellations.

For most merchants, rewards are unlocked approximately 60 days after purchase. For travel-related purchases such as flights and hotels, rewards are typically unlocked around 60 days after your completed stay or trip.

Each merchant has its own validation timeline, and Laguna releases your rewards as soon as we receive confirmation from the merchant.

6B. What About Rewards Earned from the Task Center?

To unlock withdrawals for Task Center rewards, you must first complete a qualifying purchase of at least USD $3 through Laguna.

This requirement helps keep the platform fair for everyone and prevents abuse from bots and fraudulent accounts.

Once you’ve completed a qualifying purchase, your Taskmaster Tier Rewards Quest will be unlocked and your Task Center rewards will become eligible for withdrawal, subject to the minimum withdrawal requirements for each reward token.

6C. I Completed My USD $3 Purchase but Still Can’t Withdraw My Rewards. Why?

Great news — your Taskmaster Tier Rewards Quest has been unlocked.

However, each reward asset has a minimum withdrawal threshold before it can be withdrawn.

When you shop through Laguna, our partner merchants pay us a commission for referring customers. This commission is typically between 1% and 5% of the purchase amount.

For example, if you spend USD $100 at a merchant and the merchant pays Laguna a 5% commission, Laguna receives USD $5. A portion of that commission is used to purchase and distribute your chosen reward asset, while the remainder helps cover operational costs such as payment processing, blockchain transaction fees, and platform maintenance.

Because there are fixed costs associated with purchasing and transferring reward assets, especially on blockchain networks, we set minimum withdrawal amounts to ensure the cost of processing a withdrawal does not exceed the value of the reward itself.

For example:

  • XAUT: approximately USD $10 worth
  • BTC: approximately USD $5 worth

Your rewards have already been credited to your account and will continue accumulating as you shop and complete quests. Once you reach the minimum withdrawal amount for your chosen reward asset, you’ll be able to withdraw it to your wallet.

6D. My “Complete Your First Purchase” Mission Hasn’t Updated After I Shopped.

There is a short processing period while your order is being confirmed between the merchant and Laguna.

Most purchases are tracked within 48 hours, although some merchants may take slightly longer. However, tracking alone does not complete the mission.

To prevent abuse of the platform, purchases must first pass the merchant's refund, cancellation, or return period before they are considered final. Once the purchase has been validated by the merchant and becomes withdrawable, your "Complete Your First Purchase" mission will automatically be marked as completed.

If your purchase has not been tracked after 3 days, please submit a request through the Laguna Support Form for assistance.

Please note that support requests submitted on the same day as the purchase may not be processed, as tracking data may not yet be available.

7. How Can I Withdraw My Rewards?

To withdraw your rewards:

  1. Navigate to the Wallet page.
  2. Select the reward asset you wish to withdraw.
  3. Enter the amount you would like to withdraw.
  4. Provide the wallet address where you’d like to receive your rewards.
  5. Confirm the withdrawal request.

Once processed, your rewards will be transferred to the specified wallet address.

8. Do I Need a Web3 Wallet to Use Laguna?

Not at all.

You can shop on Laguna just as you would on any other online shopping platform.

When you create an account, Laguna automatically provides you with an embedded Web3 wallet where your rewards are securely stored. No prior crypto experience is required.

9. How Do Referral Rewards Work?

You can find your referral code on the Wallet page.

When a friend signs up using your referral code, both of you will receive USD $5 in USDC, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Your referral earns more than 10USD in cashback from completed purchases
  • The cashback from that purchase becomes withdrawable.

For example, if your friend purchases a USD $10 voucher through Laguna, both of you will receive USD $5 in USDC once the cashback becomes withdrawable.

If your referral makes a merchant purchase and later receives a refund, the referral reward will only be issued after they complete another qualifying purchase.

Referral Contribution to Memberships

In addition, 10% of your referral’s qualifying cashback earnings will count toward your own membership progress.

For example, if your referral earns USD $10 in qualifying cashback, USD $1 will count toward your membership tier progress for that reward asset.

10. What Are Memberships?

Memberships are exclusive programs designed to help you maximize your earnings with Laguna.

Membership benefits may include:

  • Enhanced promotional rates
  • Early access to promotions
  • Priority access to potential airdrops and giveaways
  • Exclusive member-only benefits

Membership tiers can be earned through:

  • Qualifying earnings on Laguna
  • Successful referrals
  • Ownership of specific NFTs or tokens

Membership Duration

Memberships earned through Laguna activity remain valid for one year from the date you achieve the tier.

For example, if you qualify on January 2, 2026, your membership will remain active until January 1, 2027.

If you meet the requirements again before your membership expires, the validity period will be extended by another year.

Important: A single Web3 wallet can only be linked to one Laguna account. If you disconnect your wallet, you may lose any memberships associated with that wallet.

11. Do I Need to Connect My Wallet, and Is It Safe?

You only need to connect an external wallet if you want to claim a membership that requires ownership of a specific NFT or token.
When connecting a wallet, Laguna simply verifies ownership by asking you to sign a message. Laguna will never initiate transactions from your wallet or request access to your funds.
For additional security, Laguna supports delegate.xyz, allowing you to delegate assets from a cold wallet to a hot wallet. This enables you to verify ownership safely without exposing your primary wallet to online interactions.
